Maintenance Planner Utilities

Overview:We are looking for a key strategic team member who can help us utilize the extraordinary strengths of highly talented Evergreen Packaging associates who support our world-class customers, retailers and eco-conscious consumers. The ideal candidate will be an excellent collaborator and have demonstrated strong capabilities needed to lead within the maintenance organization.Job ResponsibilitiesPrepares work packets to be executed in support of equipment reliability.Works with technical resources as needed, completes job plans with steps/procedures, labor, duration, parts, tools, consumables, drawings, resource documents, safety and environmental considerations, etc. per company standards, for daily work, outages; equipment modifications; PMs; and Condition Monitoring.Works with the area triangle team to develop Gantt charts for machine outages.Reserves stores material required for planned jobs; requisitions non-stock material Reserves any rental equipment/tools.Utilizes SAP for building job plans, monitors job status, closing codes, and provides input from work order back log to the triangle team.Builds PM''s within SAP with input from reliability and triangle team. Manual call PM''s as needed for outages.Identifies material, trades, and time required to execute work; verifies availability of contracted labor prior to work being scheduling; arranges for appropriate alternatives as needed.As part of the triangle team, reviews work notifications and is consulted and informed on content and clarity; discusses work requests with triangle team to determine total scope of work and priority.Works with MRO to ensure that any needed spares are added using the RARD process.Updates SAP and job plan BOMs to reflect changes in materials.Qualifications:Qualifications3 or more years as a mechanical planner at a papermill is preferred.5 or more years as a mechanical planner in heavy industrial manufacturing is a plus.5 or more years'' experience as maintenance craft in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment is a plus.Experience/familiarity in utilities environment at a papermill is idea.Strong understanding of and ability to apply maintenance planning and scheduling principles.Ability to read, interpret drawings, and schematics.Ability to think ahead and flexibly make adjustments in a rapidly changing environment.Ability to deliver results within scope of responsibilities.Strong interpersonal, influencing, facilitation and presentation skills; able to communicate and influence effectively with all levels of management and plant personnel.Math, data analysis, and metrics management skills.Leadership skills.Familiarity with continuous improvement methods and processes.Strong office management skills (invoice coding, procurement requests, filing, phone skills, financial daily operations).Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CMMS (power user in relevant CMMS preferred).Ability to work with little to no daily direction and be self-sufficient.Ability to prioritize a large work load and produce results.Strong organizational skills.DisclaimerThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
