Information Risk Governance Senior

This role will focus in on financial services industry for data governance and information risk. They will work with compliance, policies, and standards. Will work with applications, end user controls, data stores, LANs, SharePoint sites, etc. Responsibilities:Govern information risk and execute data governance in the Investments and Capital Markets divisionEvaluate and assess information risk profile for the divisionMonitor compliance with Corporate Policies and StandardsCreating and maintaining processes and procedures to follow divisional and enterprise standards related to privacy, information security, information classification, records retention, and data governanceBuild and maintain an accurate and complete inventory of applications, end user controls, models, data stores, LANs, and SharePoint sites and manage business definitions for critical dataDetailing and managing business metadataActively monitoring 2LOD personnel, and also changes to industry best practices for large financial institutions and identifying needed updates to divisional information risk policies, standards, and proceduresProviding input to reporting on information risk important metrics, KCIs, and KRIsPartnering with appropriate groups within I&CM, I&CM BTO and Enterprise functions to develop and implement effective strategiesQualifications:5-8 years of information risk and data governance experience within the financial services industryBachelor''s degree in IT, Finance, or related field or an equivalent work experienceExperience defining and documenting business processes and information flows including metadata and data lineageSolid understanding of best practices related to information risk management and data governance - provided by Dice
