Job Number: R0119682 FPGA Design Engineer, SeniorThe Challenge: What if you could use your engineering skills to transform real-time digital signal processing (DSP) systems? As an electrical engineer, you understand the power behind complex systems. That knowledge is key when it comes to deploying real-time DSP applications. We''re looking for an electrical engineer who can use their skills to rapidly design, develop, and deploy innovative solutions in support of a multitude of critical mission domains. Our team delivers hardware accelerated signal processing solutions. That''s why we need you, an electrical engineer, who specializes in both DSP and Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) development to help us apply innovative design and development techniques to develop these critical systems. This includes leveraging both the embedded processing and FPGA fabric of Xilinx SoCs, and applying leading edge development approaches to realize these innovations. You will directly impact mission critical domains such as Electronic Warfare (EW) and Signals'' Intelligence (SIGINT) by developing and applying rapid prototyping workflows. We''ll look to you to share your electrical engineering expertise through leadership and mentoring junior staff. You Have: * Experience designing, developing, implementing, and verifying signal processing algorithms targeting FPGA-based development platforms* Experience with behavioral, register transfer level (RTL), and gate level development* Experience with Hardware Description Language (HDL), including Verilog or VHDL* Experience developing DSP algorithms, including channel emulation, waveform generation, phased array processing, for real-time applications* Experience with Linux operating systems* Experience applying Xilinx ISE and Vivado workflow* Knowledge of digital communication theory, including modulation, demodulation, radio-frequency principles* Knowledge of digital signal processing (DSP) theory, including sampling theory, filter design, fixed-point design considerations* Ability to obtain a security clearance* Bachelor''s degree and 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering or a Master''s degree and 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering Nice If You Have: * Experience utilizing radio-frequency (RF) daughter cards* Experience developing integrated solutions that leverage both the embedded processor and FPGA fabric of Xilinx SoC/RFSoC devices* Knowledge of non-traditional HDL development, including SpinalHDL, and Chisel* Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Compensation: The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is 90,000 to 110,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
