Hard work and professional dedication are rewarded with a competitive compensation package that includes full benefits including:Paid holidays Generous PTO bank Medical, Dental and Vision coverage Retirement plans - Profit sharing, 401(k), pension Life insurance with AD&D Short- and long-term disability Prescription drug program Educational assistance and MORE!!!Job DescriptionThe Technical Training Specialist with Southeast Toyota Distributors is responsible for providing factory technical training to Toyota dealership Technicians.Responsibilities will include:This position is primarily responsible for providing factory technical training to Toyota dealership Technicians.Prepare and provide technical instruction in both classroom, virtual, and shop environments.Maintain TMNA required certification in all Toyota technical courses including ASE certification, trainer required classes, and e-Learning.Responsible for training materials and course development.Develop and maintain relationships with assigned dealer GMs, Service Managers, Shop Foremans, and Technicians.Actively communicate and work in conjunction with other Districts (FTSs/DFOMs) to ensure proper alignment and support of initiatives and projects.Administer and communicate with dealers regarding various programs and performance including TACT, ProTech, & Skill Level Guidelines.Support new product launches for internal and dealer associates.Manage technical training for assigned dealers, to ensure technicians have all necessary training and certification requirements as outlined by Toyota.Work with Toyota dealerships along with local and state automotive education institutions to recruit and retain new students.Support TMNA programs including TECS Elite, M-TEN, & T-TENLI-LA1Overnight Travel Required.Job RequirementsCollege DegreeMinimum - Associates DegreePreferred - Automotive/Technical Bachelor''s DegreeAutomotive Service Excellence (ASE) CertificationsMinimum - A1-A8Preferred - A1 - A8 and L1Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)5 to 8 years of automotive OEM and/or technical training experience strongly preferredWilling to relocate throughout the region (Florida, Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina)Willing to work in either of our Training Centers (Commerce, GA or in Jacksonville, FL)
