Job Duties Assist with supporting the assigned area, gaining practical application experience, and expanding their knowledge and skills base. Interns will have the opportunity to observe the workplace and gain industry knowledge, while also performing job-specific tasks to assist with operations. Work is typically performed in an office environment. Accountable for satisfying all job specific obligations and complying with all organization policies and procedures. Position Details This opportunity is open to students currently enrolled in a science program at a regionally-accredited college or university. This opportunity will expose the intern all aspects of laboratory medicine, including specimen collection, processing, testing, and quality control. The intern will be able to participate in special projects and partner with laboratory staff/leadership. While it is preferable that this internship be taken for school credit, it is not required.
