Vulnerability Researcher with Security Clearance

Hoplite Solutions is seeking a Vulnerability Researcher to provide engineering and vulnerability research results related to hardware components, software applications, and operating systems to determine functionality, code structure, and system design for use in the discovery of initial access capabilities. Vulnerability researchers analyze systems to understand how they work and how they behave when they break. Candidates must be able to play both sides of the fence, both developing and defeating new and advanced security techniques. Projects are undertaken in small teams with close coordination with customers. All our engineers write code, but many of our engineers spend as much time taking systems apart as building new ones. A typical day can involve studying disassembly or writing Python to audit a piece of C++ code. Basic Qualifications: Minimum of 4 years experience with C, C, C++, Perl, Python or Assembly languages (x86/x64, ARM, MIPS, etc). Bachelor''s Degree in engineering, computer science or related discipline.Understanding of OS Internals (any major OS)Experience with debuggers (WinDBG, GDB, ADB, BDI, etc.)Experience with dynamic and static binary analysis, fuzzing techniques, SAT solvers, and/or source code auditing.Demonstrated ability to self-drive research tasking.Motivated to learn complex systems.Will work with a team of researchers and developers.
