Home Care Assistant (PRN)

Join our team! Galloway Ridge is an upscale continuing care retirement community located between Chapel Hill and Pittsboro in Chatham County, NC. We are currently seeking Home Care Assistants on a PRN basis. Flexible shifts available. The Home Care Assistant is responsible for assisting residents with in-home care including, but not limited to, assistance with tasks of daily living: personal grooming, meal preparation, light housekeeping, transporting residents to medical appointments, or running errands. Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental and infection control standards. Strives to incorporate the philosophy and mission of the facility and to incorporate the facility''s goal of quality care in a personal manner with total regard for individual human dignity.Requirements Current CNA License and Certification in NC.Experience working with senior adults.Must be able to communicate in a courteous, caring, and friendly manner.Ability to work independently and interact effectively with co-workers and supervisors.Must be able to read regulations, write clearly and communicate in a courteous and friendly manner.Ability to multi-task, solve problems effectively and provide resident-focused care.Excellent attendance record and time management skills.NC Driver''s License.You will join an innovative team of over 300 employees who each contribute unique talent and expertise in a variety of hospitality, medical, and professional fields.
