LinQuest is seeking a Senior Engineer with Modeling & Simulation expertise to provide support to a Government Program Office at United States Space Force Space Systems Command Special Programs Directorate. This customer equips the U.S. Space Force with space control systems to gain, maintain, and exploit space superiority. It directs the planning, development, testing, deployment, and sustainment of a complex and dynamic portfolio of space-superiority capabilities of the highest national priority. The customers'' requirements can be met across a range of years of relevant experience. Key duties/responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Oversee modeling and simulation tool development and/or industry use of existing tools to assist with analysis of complex, technical problems relating to a wide variety of systems* Work side-by-side with existing subject matter experts in modeling and simulation to develop an integrated approach modeling the system(s) prior to warfighter operational acceptance* Work with the customer to identify data needs related to mission design, Concept of Operations (CONOPs), and overall architectures to solve problems like resource allocation, time sensitive effects, etc.* Assess contractor developed algorithms for appropriate approach and level of fidelity* Explore organic corporate capabilities to deliver or improve large scale simulations to support mission to campaign level of analysis* Identify opportunities for the Integration of new and existing models from developers and industry partners into new or existing simulation environments* Evaluate complex results and determine engineering recommendations based on analysis* Quickly translate user needs into effective modeling, simulation and analysis requirements* Develop documents and briefings to communicate work or study status, brief government and industry as requiredQualifications: * Must have an active Top Secret clearance with in-scope SSBI/T5 and have the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI for Special Programs. Must be willing to consent to a Poly. US Citizenship required.* Experience leading Modeling & Simulation projects, preferably within the space control mission area* Modeling & simulation software and software development experience* Computational modeling experience* Data analytics experience* Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience* Have excellent communication and team skillsWhy work for LinQuest?
