Loss Prevention/Off Duty Peace Officer - Part Time

The primary job of Loss Prevention is to protect assets by ensuring compliance with internal control procedures, and regulations through store inspections and supervision of assigned employees.The essential job functions include, but not limited to:Walk and observe the following areas:Main doors and outside the entrancesRestrooms when warrantedBuilding perimeterFueling PositionsProperty PerimeterServe as conflict resolution agent when customer disputes ariseSecure premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entryPrevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and proceduresControls traffic by directing driversComplete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signaturesMaintain environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controlsMaintain organizations stability and reputation by complying with legal requirementsContribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as neededAbility to work on the stores busiest daysAbility to work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and nightMaintain regular and prompt attendanceEffectively and efficiently complete tasksInteract professionally with other team membersAbility to work in a fast paced, high pressure environmentProlonged walking or standing for 8-12 continuous hoursAbility to adapt and perform other duties as business needs requireEmployee must be able to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodationThe position requirements include, but are not limited to:Must be a certified Peace OfficerPrevious retail, customer service, and/or loss prevention experience is preferredFrequent bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, balancing, pushing, pulling (e.g. ice cart with 50 or more 20 lb. bags of ice, and lifting product or material weighing 40 lbs. or more)Buc-ee''s, Ltd. is an Equal Opportunity EmployerRecruiting Job Title: Loss Prevention/Off Duty Peace Officer - Part Time ID: 2022-6913 External Company URL: Street: 10484 US 59 Road
