Software Verification Engineer with Security Clearance

Job Description:We are seeking embedded software engineers. The main activities for this role are: ★ Support performance computations/predictions; aircraft model/modeling; trajectory integration★ Support computation of aircraft performance parameters such as speeds, fuel burned, and optimum and maximum altitudes★ Support computation of predicted fuel remaining, time, altitude, and distance for selected points of the vertical profile★ Support software structural coverage analysis★ Support data coupling/control coupling★ Support problem report (PR) investigation/analysis and resolution Industry: Avionics, FMS Predictions Experience RequiredDevelopment Processes: Structured (e.g. DO-178B like), DO-178Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with a positive client-facing demeanorLeadership Skills: Ability to quickly grasp new processes and tasks and a strong willingness to own your own learning process by asking questions and seeking out advice Required Skills:Experience designing and implementing real-time embedded software, and subsequent verificationExperience in embedded Military and or Commercial Avionics product developmentPrior hands-on experience developing and testing Flight Management Systems (FMS) embedded software in a DO-178C Avionics development environmentExperience computing aircraft performance parameters such as speeds, fuel burned, and optimum and maximum altitudesExperience computing predicted fuel remaining, time, altitude, and distance for selected points of the vertical profile These would be a plus:Experience with configuration management tools (e.g. Git, Tortoise SVN, or DOORS)Ada coding experience Please consider this exciting opportunity to join a large and growing Engineering Solutions team with the potential of supporting multiple high profile customers on a variety of products using exciting technologies.
