Ultrasound Tech PRN

Under the general guidance of the physicians/providers performs a variety of diagnostic ultrasonographic procedures. Reports to: Ultrasound Coordinator and Director Diagnostic ServicesMinimum Education Associates degree in Radiology - PreferredMinimum Education Graduate from a Medical Ultrasound Program - RequiredRequired Skills Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.Required Skills Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved American Heart Association training center required within 90 days of hire.Required Skills Licenses: Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Sonography(s) and/or registered with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
