We are currently searching for a self-motived, detail oriented, ambitious Assistant Infection Preventionist to grow, learn and work with our in house Infection Preventionist.Job Description:The primary purpose of our Assistant Infection Preventionist is to work with and learn from our in-house Infection Preventionist on planning, organizing, developing, and directing our infection control program and its activities in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. The Assistant Infection Preventionist will be working with and learning from the best of the best. Our in house Infection Preventionist has been with us for 6 years and has successfully helped our facility navigate through the challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic and continues to implement and maintain a top of the line Infection Prevention Program. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn under the leadership of a seasoned Infection Preventionist with the goal to eventually become a certified Infection Preventionist themselves.Assistant Infection Preventionist Qualifications• Ability to communicate effectively.• Ability to work independently and with a team.• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.• Ability to multitask.• Strong attention to detailAssistant Infection Preventionist Requirements• Valid California LVN or RN License• Minimum 1 year experience as a Nurse working in a Skilled Nursing Setting is Preferred• Previous DSD or Infection Prevenionist experience is a pensationCompetitive compensation package depending upon experience.About UsSummerfield Post Acute Rehab is a small 55 bed skilled nursing facility located in Santa Rosa, CA.
