Job descriptionAs part of the Omni acquisition team, you will support Space Systems Command (SSC) Enterprise Program Integration. You will assess, evaluate, and track status metrics to effectively assist the Government in delivery and sustainment of war-fighting capabilities. Working closely with various degrees of Government leadership, you will be responsible for providing expertise and answers to technical and programmatic inquiries. Overseeing and processing program information as well as advising the Government on various phases of the planning, programming, budgeting, and execution process. Job Responsibilities Portfolio Integration The Contractor shall assist the Director with management and integration of the portfolio by providing information, advice, and recommendations for the effective alignment of portfolio acquisitions, manpower, and funding.The Contractor shall maintain, update, and analyze the acquisition forecast to ensure current and consistent content and identify any disconnects or deficiencies.The acquisition forecast is a projection of current and future contract efforts, milestones, and key decision points. Acquisition Planning The Contractor shall evaluate acquisition documentation for adherence to policy and guidance; consistency in implementation of the program''s acquisition strategy, technical approach requirements, acquisition policy and guidance, milestones, forecasts, schedule, and risk assessment; and realism in achieving a product suitable for the user within cost, schedule, and performance constraints.Acquisition documentation includes, but not limited to, acquisition reports, acquisition plans, acquisition strategies, requests for proposals, and documents for sole source efforts. The Contractor shall recommend program acquisition strategies.The Contractor shall support market research. The Contractor shall collect, analyze, store, and distribute acquisition "lessons learned" to promote increased efficiencies, timeliness, and effectiveness.
