Database Administrator with Security Clearance

Job Title: Database Administrator (DBA) Overview: Acuity, Inc. seeks a dynamic, self-motivated Database Administrator, responsible for the operations and maintenance of dozens of systems in multiple environments leveraging Microsoft SQL and Azure technologies. Acuity supports key Federal Government clients, and we are looking for someone to support our client within the Department of State. It would be helpful if the candidate has Federal space experience. This position needs someone who is comfortable with changing technology and must be proactive and willing to learn new technologies. Responsibilities: • Routine monitoring and maintenance activities for dozens of databases leveraged by disparate systems.• Hybrid ~50% on-site and remote work to support applications on unclassified and classified networks.• Performance tuning and troubleshooting.• Configure and manage database backups, log shipping, AAG. Qualifications: • 5+ years of IT experience in Data Design and Development on Microsoft SQL Server 2019/2016, T-SQL.• Hands on experience on various SQL Server Services like Integration Services (SSIS), Analysis Services (SSAS), and Reporting Services (SSRS).• SSIS/DTS Package Configuration, SSRS, SSAS and Data-warehousing.• Expert in configuring Window/SQL Cluster, SQL AAG, Distributed AAG.
