Description/Job SummaryMontgomery County Recovery Center (a of Resources for Human Development, Inc) is a licensed Narcotic Treatment Program providing medication assisted treatment for opiate addiction. MCRC is seeking mid-level provider(s) for up to 16 hours a week with potential to increase as program expands. The provider will be responsible for the provision of medical services to patients under the supervision and guidance of the Medical Director.The provider is an essential part of the program providing front-line care to individuals seeking treatment. Part time flexible hours within the programs normal operating office hours. ** There is a sign on bonus associated with this position following the successful completion of 90 daysResponsibilities/DutiesMedical Exams:Perform physical and collect medical data and history on all patients.Record patient data in record to be co-signed by physician according to regulationsPlan and implement medical standardsRequest lab studies and collect urine and blood specimensTB TestingVivitrol injectionsMedication Monitoring and Reviews:Compliance with State, Federal and MCMC regulationsObservation of medicating patients for behavioral changes, medical symptoms, drug abuse or instabilitySymptom Reviews with PatientsMedical Assessments and Referrals:Monitor medical treatment of all patients for referral to Medical DirectorProvide semi-annual medical audits of patient recordsPerform initial and follow up assessments of health status of patientsProvide recommendations and referrals to patients for appropriate follow up care outside of MCRCInitiate emergency medical management, provide first aid when applicableSupervisory Duties: Oversight of Nurse''s station regarding inventory, dispensing log and all pertinent reports required for DEADispense methadone as needed on a PRN basisPrescribe and/or dispense buprenorphine as neededRequired ExperiencePreferred 2 years experience working with Behavioral Health patientsMedication Assisted Treatment Experience preferredRequired EducationMaster''s Degree from accredited universityBuprenorphine waiver preferredRequired QualificationsLicensed/Certified as a Physician Assistant with NCCPA and currently licensed in state of PA ORLicensed/Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner currently licensed in state of PACurrent CPR certificationAbility to effectively use computers, pertinent technology, and mobile devices Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in written form Ability to support and implement RHD values and beliefs Ability to engage clients and staff in effective, therapeutic, and healthy interactions [Professional Certification (if applicable)] Criminal record clearances, as dictated by the assigned programs Program SummaryMontgomery County Recover Center (MCRC) is a licensed methadone treatment program. Medication Assisted Treatment in conjunction with counseling and supportive services are provided to support those struggling with addiction to recover. Drug therapy and counseling program for recovering narcotic addicts from all socio-economic levels. All are medically and psychologically approved for methadone treatment. HIV/AIDS testing and counseling and TB testing for all clinic clients. Resources for Human Development, is an equal opportunity employer.
