With the assistance of our devoted and trustworthy staff members, we strive to meet high standards by providing an unsurpassed level of care.JOB SUMMARY: A Registered Nurse administers skilled nursing care to patients on an intermittent basis in their place of residence. This is performed in accordance with physician orders and plan of care under the direction and supervision of the Director of Clinical Services/Clinical Manager. QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing and currently licensed in FloridaOne years'' nursing experience, preferredAcceptance of philosophy and goals of this AgencyAbility to exercise initiative and independent judgmentMust have current CPR certification, TB test, Health Statement/physical clearing to work, and eligible Level 2 background RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides services in accordance with the plan of careMakes the initial evaluation visit and regularly reevaluates the patient''s nursing needsInitiates the plan of care and necessary revisionsProvides those services requiring substantial specialized nursing skillsInitiates appropriate preventive and rehabilitative nursing proceduresPrepares clinical and progress notes for each patient visit and summaries of care conferences on his/her patients in a timely manner as per Agency policyInforms personnel of changes in the condition and needs of the patientCounsels the patient and family/significant others in meeting nursing and related needsParticipates in and presents in-service programsUnderstands and adheres to established Agency policies and proceduresProcesses orders and notifies physician of patient needs and changes in condition.
