All current and newly hired employees are required to follow onsite safety measures based upon the COVID-19 Community Level at the specific work location.Description:This position is for the H60 Hangar Flight Operations and Support team manager that manages the Aviation Maintenance team and the Hangar Support Team (Maintenance Control and Tool Cribs) that supports all helicopters in the Owego hangar. This position is also responsible for cost and schedule of the program(s) they support. The ideal candidate will also have extensive experience in creating Basis of Estimates, implementing Ground Operations and Safety Procedures, and building effective relationships with internal and external customers. Other responsibilities include:Ability to understand program requirements and priorities in real-time, make decisions, and direct the appropriate resources to the required tasks to ensure critical path schedule is maintained. Candidate must have demonstrated personnel leadership and project leadership skills, cultivate a highly motivated workforce, and the ability to lead and drive change. Candidate will be required to create and provide briefs to all levels of management and customers. Candidate will need to understand military standards and requirements and have experience coordinating, planning, preparing, and executing safe flight operations.Basic Qualifications:Must possess active Secret clearance and be able to obtain YW accessCandidate must have extensive experience in aircraft maintenance operations to include aircraft records creation. Have experience as an aviation operations leader with record of leading teams through meaningful change in high tempo environments. Position requires the ability to work off shift or weekends in support of the program. Some travel may be required in support of customer and company meetings.Must be proficient using MS Office products (Excel, PowerPoint etc.)Desired Skills:Past experience as a leader in Rotary Wing maintenance and missions systems integration. Familiar with Hangar Flight Operations and deployment of resources required to support high tempo flight operations. Past experience interfacing with DCMA, Military and Civilian customers while operating under the 8210.1C. considered a plus.
