Betis Group is a growing small business that provides a broad range of consulting services to US Federal Government, US Military, and Commercial clients. Services include Management & IT Consulting, Program & Project Management, and Professional & Admin Services. Betis Group is looking for a DevOps Engineer in Columbus, OH, United States. Duties and Responsibilities: DevOps skillset - Python, Shell, JavaScript, or PowerShell. Write and execute software release builds scripts for both Java application, deployed to Websphere, and Weblogic Application Servers and .NET applications, deployed to IIS. Use build tools like ANT, Perl, CruiseControl, Maven, Rational ClearCase and Subversion (as source control system). Strong experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) in developing and improving automation to manage large environments. Administration of tools, namely, IBM BuildForge, Jenkins, Mingle and Fisheye Crucible is needed. Administration of Jenkins including setting up of Jenkins instance, creating users/groups and projects, installing plugins, agents install on the slave machines, periodic upgrades etc. Deployments that will span Development, Certification, QA, Stage, Stress and Production environments. Proficient knowledge in the following key areas: Hardware Architecture (performance testing, monitoring, operations), Hardware Benchmarking (Agile, program managements, network management), Design (compliance, security), Network Engineering (planning, provision). Intermediate understanding of LOB technology drivers and their impact on architecture design. Knowledge of more than one specific infrastructure technology. Thinks creatively to deliver solutions through continuous improvement. In-depth experience with VMware ESXi (versions 4-6) running on Cisco UCS, HP or Dell hardware. Comprehensive experience with Redhat Linux. Thorough knowledge and experience with the VMware product set including the VMware vRealize Suite (Operations Manager and Orchestrator). Professional experience working in production systems support environment. Redhat Linux / Unix operating system support experience. VMWare ESXi support experience (vSphere, vCenter, vRO). Unix Shell Scripts (Bourne shell, Korn shell) or Wintel scripting (VBScript or PowerShell). Experience with CI and CD tools such as Jenkins, Travis, SCCM, SCOM etc. Experience with devops tools processes and culture. Experience working in an agile development environment. Apache Tomcat or IIS administration a plus. SQL, DB2, Oracle or MS SQL specific experience a plus. Ability to define project plans, timelines, and key project milestones. Solid knowledge of technical architecture/infrastructure. Strong troubleshooting skills required. Should possess excellent communication skills. Should possess excellent leadership and efficient team management skills. Must have a good understanding of design and development of Web-based applications. Proficient in Ant, Perl, Unix Shell Scripting Languages. Possess working knowledge of Java applications deployed on IBM Websphere and Weblogic Application Servers.
