SCCM Packager

Direct Hire role. Hybrid work environment. Office is located in eastern St Charles County with easy access from St Louis County. Essential Job ResponsibilitiesThoroughly evaluates, validates, and executes application packages and validation cases, and ensures that packages provide detailed logs; documents and provides evaluation results.Creates, updates, deploys, troubleshoots, and removes objects in the SCCM environment, sites, DPs, and clients based on provided guidelines.Creates, updates, and deletes dynamic and static collections and removal of applications reports for installation from the registry and Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) repository.Modifies the SCCM configuration and Server Management System (SMS_DEF.MOF) to collect information from the registry and Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) repository.Analyzes SCCM log files and the current enterprise configuration.Troubleshoots and helps remediate sites experiencing SCCM issues.Provides patch management support and maintenance window operations.Validates deployment plans for compliance within existing performance limitations of the enterprise servers'' software.Provides a status report before and after updates and remediation actions are executed.Creates, updates, deploys, troubleshoots, and removes objects in the SCCM environment, sites, distribution points (DPs), and clients based on provided guidelines.Creates, updates, and deletes dynamic and static collections and reports for installation, modification, and removal of applications.Creates custom test environments to provide proof of concept before implementing into production.Maintains disaster recovery capability and procedures for the SCCM environment.Maintains and updates daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly checklists for enterprise configuration management and preventative maintenance.Sends notifications to customers and groups prior to and after implemented requests or modifications.Thoroughly evaluates, validates, and deploy application packages and validation cases.Documents and provides evaluation results as well as ensure packages provide detailed logs.Works with site administrators to troubleshoot package deployments, removals, and modifications as required.Creates desktop and server images utilizing technologies such as: Business Desktop Deployment (BDD), Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT), Windows Deployment Services (WDS), Windows Pre-Installation Environment (WinPE), Windows Automated Installation Kit (WAIK), and Pre-Boot Execution Environment (PXE).Education and ExperienceBachelor''s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.Minimum of 2 years of relevant hands-on experience providing SCC M packaging support.MCSA or MCSE Microsoft Certifications preferred. - provided by Dice
