Systems Engineer-CA_INT with Security Clearance

Overview Axient is seeking a Systems Engineer to join our team in Huntsville, AL. Responsibilities Duties will include, but are not limited to: * Support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Chief Architect office * Conduct assessments of Missile Defense (MD) threats, capability gaps, challenges, needs, and opportunities to drive development of potential system mitigations and architecture solutions to address those issues * Support coordination with other MDA organizations, Warfighter, DoD and other external organizations to further define architecture-level sensor, weapon, and command & control mitigations to address MD architecture gaps * Assist in development of the MD future architecture and roadmap for integrating future capabilities * Support development of MD architecture products such as architecture views, architecture documents, evolution plans and top-level requirements * Participate on a team of architecture analysts, assigning analysis tasks and reviewing preliminary results prior to delivery to customer * Assess MD threats, capability gaps, challenges, needs and opportunities, and develop potential system mitigations and capability evolutions at the architecture level * Support modeling & simulation efforts related to the above, including analysis efforts on DoD High Performance Computing (HPC) * Develop analysis plans, run M&S to execute the analysis plan, perform analysis on the results, prepare analysis reports, and providing reviews of analysis products Qualifications Requirements: * Active DoD Secret security clearance, which requires US Citizenship * Ability to obtain Top Secret clearance * Bachelor''s degree in STEM related field * 7+ years of related experience * Experience with MATLAB * Understanding of the current MDS architecture Desired Skills and Experience: * Active TS/SCI Clearance * MATLAB Coding * Experience with application of modeling & simulation to defense architectures, HPC experience, MBSE experience * Experience with BMD Benchmark Must meet applicable COVID safety requirements and protocols missiledefense mda
