Description Lead Logistics Analyst- Maintenance Effectiveness Review Washington, DC Responsibilities: * Develop, evaluate, and improve Navy PMS and Class Maintenance Plans through the ''Backfit'' RCM processes during Maintenance Effectiveness Reviews (MERs). * Collect, compile, analyze, investigate, research, or applies logistics, maintenance, acquisition, or financial data for the selected systems for MER events. Performs the role of the lead facilitator during MER events, including socializing MER processes before and after the events. The candidate should be familiar with: * Conducting Business Process Reengineering, Business Case Analysis, or other similar analyses to support improvement of Navy maintenance processes, organizations planning tools, and information systems. * Assisting in RCM instruction, facilitation, engineering analysis, evaluation and implementation of improved processes, procedures, organizations, and support tools related to reduction of Total Ownership Cost. * Assisting in the evaluation and implementation of improved Maintenance Effectiveness Review processes, procedures, organizations, and support tools related to reduction of Total Ownership Cost. * Tracking Maintenance Effectiveness Review results through implementation and provide status reports as required. * Analyzing and providing Maintenance Effectiveness Review result metrics. * Assisting with the identification of CBM+ and other efficiencies identified during the Maintenance Effectiveness Review process and share that information with appropriate groups and organizations. Required Qualifications * Fifteen (15) years of experience in Navy PMS Policy and Processes. * Bachelor''s degree (BS/BA) in a field of Science or Engineering or a minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience was gained because of in-depth experience and specialized knowledge in a related field. * US Citizen with Secret Security Clearance Desired Qualifications * Level III Reliability-Centered Maintenance certified trainer IAW MIL-STD-3034 (RCM Process).
