GIS Software Developer needed for a 2 month contract opportunity with SOC''s client to work in Atlanta, GA. Active Top Secret/SCI clearance is required for this position! Responsibilities * At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience developing web-based geospatial applications with the esri stack. * Experience with one or more of the following esri products: ArcGIS Hub Premium, ArcGIS Online, Portal for ArcGIS * Prior experience acting as an administrator of an ArcGIS Online site is a plus. * Experience with Esri Experience Builder or Web AppBuilder to develop and deploy web applications. * Experience with ArcMap and ArcGIS Pro * Experience working with Esri feature layers and map layers. * Experience with applying ArcGIS Arcade * Experience with collecting, compiling, analyzing, and synthesizing information to provide data-based recommendations * Experience with HTML, JSON, CSS to develop esri web applications * Experience configuring and deploying Survey 123 on mobile and desktop * Experience with Python and ArcGIS Notebooks to automate geoprocessing workflows * Understand of esri credits and usage * Knowledge of best practices applying the esri platform. * Experience using Github for version control. * Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access * Bachelor''s degree Qualifications * Experienced in data management, and querying data from disparate database systems. * Strong communicator, and able to work independently and directly with customers to gather requirements to develop GIS solutions. * Experience consulting and collaborating with customers to uncover potential knowledge gaps and recommending solutions and processes to achieve business requirements. * Ability to apply creativity to challenge assumptions, explore different perspectives, work through problems, and resolve ambiguous situations involving data. * Possession of analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills * Possession of high levels of initiative, attention to detail, and a history of delivering high quality products within specified timeframes * Experience working in an Agile environment and to track individual and team tasks and deliverables using a Kanban board. * Possession of strong presentation and delivery skills * Ability to prototype to demonstrate technical concepts while incorporating feedback from application stakeholders. * Knowledge of applying requirements from Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act to developed dashboards and applications. * Bachelor''s degree in Geographic Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science or Data Science preferred * GISP certification is preferred Clearance: * NACI clearance (Public Trust) is required.
