One key TTO delivers a platform that hosts an expanding set of core services, analytic tools, data compliance, and security services to the TecSIGINT community. Incorporating DevOps, SAFE, and other best practices to design, develop and deploy software, we adhere to a rigorous release schedule for the SDK. In addition, we provide software maintenance and enhancements, systems engineering and administration, and quality assurance to an operational system of critical importance to SIW. The team works collaboratively across various organizations implementing the latest technology (AWS, Docker, K8s) to support the mission and meet the customer''s needs in a proactive manner.The Database Administrator (DBA) shall possess the following capabilities:Maintain the integrity, security, and availability of database(s)Establish and maintain database user accountsAdminister, maintain and implement policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the database(s)Organize and format data for efficient query and storage processesEvaluate requirements and recommends available DBMS productsProvide server administration with a variety of database products that include Oracle, MongoDB and ElasticsearchPerform disaster recovery, performance analysis and tuning, index maintenance, and monitoring of dataDevelop policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the database(s)Perform database and software life-cycle activities to ensure highest level of system performance and availabilitySupport data modeling activities by way of prototype database implementationCoordinate database architecture changes with Database Engineer (DBE)sDirect the monitoring, administrating and implementing performance on database systems, as well as database performance optimization, developing/changing database indices redesigning database structure and reloading data into a databaseDirect the installation of database management systems, databases, tables and viewsDirects the administration and use of current and emerging database tools, strategies and technologiesQualifications:- Twelve (12) years'' experience as a Database Administrator (DBA) in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required- Bachelor''s Degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required- Four (4) years of additional DBA experience may be substituted for a Bachelor''s Degree- Proven experience with Oracle, MongoDB and ElasticsearchRange:Pay Range $101,400.00 - $156,000.00 - $210,600.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
