Senior Systems Engineer with Security Clearance

Senior Systems Engineer - Huntsville, AL RESPONSIBILITIES: Reliant Technologies is looking for a Sr. Systems Engineer supporting the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Ground Based Mid-Couse Defense organization. The candidate will be responsible for reviewing system engineering products produced by industry partners. As a member of the systems engineering team, the candidate must have extensive knowledge of the entire systems engineering process and previous experience in writing system engineering requirements using IBM Rational DOORS®, the company standard requirements management tool. The candidate will be addressing requirements in three specific areas: MBSE (digital engineering) Verification, and Compliance. It will be the candidate''s responsibility to be the DOORs administrator, configure the IBM Rational DOORS® project to support the projects design reviews. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for importing data from industry source documents, spreadsheets, and/or PDF files, and reviewing Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) or) deliverable documents. Other services to the program will include working with the digital engineering team to import requirements into CAMEO using Datahub. As a member of the NGI systems engineering team, the candidate will be collaborating with other MDA team members to leverage best practices, share system engineering capabilities, and support new team initiatives. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are needed. Required Education, Experience, & Skills • Bachelor''s Degree in Engineering or related field and 15 years of experience. (Experience must be in Requirements Development and/or Requirements Management)• Experience with implementing and configuring the IBM Rational DOORS® application• Experience with developing system requirements• Experience as a DOORS administrator• Knowledge of MDA process and procedures• Knowledge of EARS-requirements development• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Experience with Microsoft Office products• Current Secret Clearance or higher clearance Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills • Complex DOORS Extension Language (DXL) skill including Dialog Box creation, user input/data collection, data sorting, filtering, manipulation, and reporting• Knowledge of dashboard tools i.e. Qlik• Knowledge of MBSE/ CAMEO tool• Ability to successfully work with multiple teams within MDA and Industry• Previous responsibility for budget and schedule of small integration or development teams• BS (MS degree preferred) in a science, math, or engineering discipline
