Sr. Graphic & Web Designer *** This position is a hybrid work schedule: 3 days working onsite at our corporate HQ located in Redwood City, CA and 2 days work from home ***Summary:As a web developer at Provident you will develop and solve challenging UI/UX problems related to our web site and online banking platforms. You will build code that effectively communicates to our members. Our mission is we Listen, Get Better and Do What''s Right for each other and our members.Essential Functions:Create, produce, and implement wed site development projects that are consistent with the Credit Union brand and image.Ensure integration of web initiatives with overall marketing plans and image and branding strategy by meeting regularly with the VP, Marketing.Understand short and long term marketing objectives.Ensure web site content is accurate and reflects current products and promotions by developing and overseeing an ongoing audit and update process. Recruit and manage the participation of subject matter experts as required.Ensure web software applications are integrated with the public web site and are updated as required.Actively participate on e-commerce related strategic teams and initiatives as required. This includes monitoring and providing feedback and performing testing on updates to the secure site.Accommodate requests to add promotions and new content to support new products and promotions.Write and edit copy for the web site as required. This includes permanent content as well as posting temporary messages within both the secure and non-secure sites related to service disruptions or other special municate openly and effectively with internal/external clients & be an active and supportive member of the marketing team.Maintain web design programs/software with most recent updates for maximum efficiency.Ensure all web site links comply with Provident Credit Union''s web linking policy and that the policy is reviewed and updated as required to ensure clean web site audits.Managing, planning, coordinating and implementing regular and ongoing updates and site enhancements under the direction of the VP, Marketing. Activities include performing content, design, and usability updates to the web site home page and content pages.Contributing to cross functional teams addressing special web-related projects and issues.Monitoring and identifying trends and opportunities for enhancing the site, including graphic presentation, functionality and content.Enhancing the site, based on trends and opportunities identified, to encourage greater member self-service.Manage project production.Assist Web Communications director on various web development projectsPerforms other duties as assigned.Excellent listening and speaking skills.Excellent written communication plete required BSA & OFAC training annually.Understand and adhere to BSA and OFAC policy and procedures.Education / Work Experience / Skills Required:Bachelor''s Degree in CS or equivalent experience.7+ years of Experience building and maintaining web sites used by demanding membersExperience with multiple Javascript frameworks: Backbone, Node.js, React, Angular, Ember, JQueryExperience with agile software development methodologiesDemonstrated expertise to use, lnDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, JSON, XML,Working knowledge of: Design and production, HTML, CSS, ASP, iFrames, experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud a big plusExpert Javascript skills.
