Entry Level Engineer/Scientist with Security Clearance

Job Description Kratos Defense & Rocket Support Services is currently seeking an Entry Level Engineer/Scientist to support The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD). The successful candidate shall provide engineering and technical support services to support NSWCDD at the warfare center, test facilities, and Contractor facilities. This Contractor support shall be provided in the general Radar Work Areas of: Requirements Development and Analysis Support, Systems Engineering, Software Development, Antenna Design, Signal Processing, Radar Operation, and Test and Evaluation. Specific areas of support will include: Maintaining and analyzing data in a common Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System (DOORS) database. Support the Radar team by assisting in the establishment and maintenance of program requirements. * Intermediate or advanced Matlab programming and analysis skills * Deliverables include emails, memos, briefs and reports, as required. * Maintain configuration management of the requirements * Manage the review process of requirements documents * Deliverables include Technical Reports. * Recommend program improvement. Experience and Skills Required Experience: The successful candidate must have the following: * Bachelor''s degree from a school of engineering with at least one curriculum accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) as a professional engineering curriculum in one of the following fields: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineer, Electronics Engineering; * U.S. Citizen * Must possess and maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance Specialized Experience: * Demonstrated experience and ability to perform detailed and complex calculations and knowledge of practices/principles necessary to assess advanced radar systems concepts, assess specifications and perform system integration. * DOORS database experience desired * Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team to accomplish assigned tasks.
