Job Title: Expert GIS Integrations Engineer Location: Fayetteville, NC. You will be an integral part of a selective professional IT team that directly supports the operational planning cycle to support mission success. This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization in Fayetteville, NC. Duties and Responsibilities * You will use advanced development techniques to perform complex analysis, design and modification of GIS applications and databases. * The Expert GIS Integrations Engineers conduct development, deployment, and maintenance of both custom and ad-hoc geospatial applications supporting intelligence analysis workflows.* You should have excellent communication skills to include technical writing and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment. * You should have the ability and willingness to continue to expand your knowledge and experience base to be detail oriented and to prioritize and complete assigned tasks within required deadlines. * You should have exceptional problem solving and decision-making capabilities, including troubleshooting technical issues, successfully resolving project issues and challenges, and developing creative solutions for process improvement and understanding user requirements.* Using your knowledge and experience you will recommend innovative technologies to enhance the presentation and usage of enterprise GIS products and provide integrated systems planning.Requirements * Top Secret Clearance AND meet the requirements of DCID 6/4* Have eight years system integration and development experience* Ability to create and develop custom tools utilizing RDMBS, NoSQL data stores, and distributed process of large datasets. * Performs high level/expert intelligence systems development design and evaluation. * Possess strong oral and written communication skills* Capable of performing as a team and effectively directing subordinates* High level/expert ability to manage and work with static and dynamic streaming geospatial oriented data* Proficient in C and Python programming languages* Required to obtain and maintain currency of the appropriate level certification in accordance with DODD 8570.01Preferred * Bachelor''s degree and three additional years of general experience in the intelligence community and geospatial systems experience are highly desirable.
