Find your future with us.The Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a System Support Technologist to support our business in Hazelwood, Missouri. This role evaluates engineering design for supportability of multiple equipment subsystems. Develops supportability data and identifies gaps and initiates resolution to meet support objectives. Analyzes and develops preliminary task and resource requirements. Validates that design meets supportability criteria and assists with alternate design recommendations. Develops repair level analysis and scheduled maintenance programs. Identifies alternatives to resolve obsolescence issues.This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.Position Responsibilities:Collect, research, and analyze source data and validation of source data based on predefined and developed assumptionsAnalyzes technical data/drawings and reports to resolve operational requirements, maintenance tasks, and support resourcesParticipates in establishing initial support systems and evaluates designs for to resolve supportability requirementsPerforms quality self-check and participates in peer reviews of completed work packages for overall technical accuracy and customers format standards/specificationsThis position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Experience developing and documenting supportability concepts, including Logistics Support AnalysisExperience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical dataPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Experience using SLICwave Logistics Support Analysis Record (LSAR)Experience with GEIA-STD-0007BBachelor''s DegreeMilitary experienceTypical Education/ Experience:Technical bachelor''s degree and typically 2 or more years'' related work experience or a Master''s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experienceRelocation:This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation.
