Find your future with us.The Boeing Commercial Airplane (BCA) Seats Integration Team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electronic & Electrical Engineering Senior Manager.This role will lead the Electronic & Electrical Team, within the Seat Integration team (SIT) located in Everett & Renton, WA which includes Seat Electrical Integration, Seat Electrical Technical Center, 787 Seat Wiring Integration and also oversees related Software integration. The Senior Manager will partner with multiple functions within SIT, including Payloads Engineering, Supply Chain as well as Cabin & Network Systems, Seats and IFE suppliers, and airlines. The team has the responsibility for:Qualification and certification of the various Powered Seat Features (non-IFE) and Inflatable Restraint components that are installed in a passenger seatSafe and certifiable installation of electrical components and wiring into passenger seating such as in-flight entertainment, powered seat actuation, emergency escape path lightingThis position is expected to be onsite daily, with some opportunity for virtual work. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Position Responsibilities:Manages employees and first-level managers performing engineering and technical activities in the areas of Electronic and Electrical Engineering.Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, objectives.Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers.The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required.
