You are united with teammates and follow through on commitments.WHAT YOU''LL DOAs the project manager you will be responsible for procurement, developing scopes of work, developing project schedules, and ensuring milestones and quality standards are met. The Project Manager also serves as a reviewer of the entire process of multi-family construction from schematic to project completion. The position of Project Manager provides oversight and evaluation of the performance of Assistant Project Managers to ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures.Own the development of all construction project schedules and holding Superintendents accountable for following project schedulesResponsible for the procurement of subcontractors and developing scopes of work for assigned construction projectsOwn the management of project costs through project management platform and invoicing by developing a relationship with accountingResponsible for development and coaching of Assistant Project Managers to carry out projects at a higher level of efficiency.Periodically attend job site meetings Safety/Progress Meetings ensure all parties are properly informed and have the necessary tools to perform their work.Consult as the Subject Matter Expert to assist in achieving projects that are affordable and practical to build with high levels of quality and low ongoing operational costsRecommend and justify alternative methods of construction and value engineering to meet budget parameters while maintaining high quality standardsReview master project schedule with project superintendent weekly to obtain current summary of project status.REQUIREMENTS4-Year degree in Construction Management or similar field and 5 years of experience as a project manager required (multifamily construction experience preferred)Knowledge of industry methods of scheduling, contracting, cost reporting, safety, and qualityAbility to understand the technical aspects of constructionKnowledge on International Building Code and Construction Classification I-2 and how to build to this standard while achieving a residential type finish.Excellent oral and written communication skills to be able to effectively communicate with a vast number of people with varying backgroundsAbility to maintain a continuing education program to attain knowledge of current industry practicesSkill in negotiating for quality goods and services at a competitive price and delivered on time.Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office Suite productsStrong knowledge of MS Software applicationsREWARDSWe recognize everyone has different needs outside of work.
