40 hours per week | Working Monday-Friday 8:00a-4:30pOR36 hours per week | Working four weekdays per week 8:00a-5:30p-Both options have weekend on call-rotation.-This position will focus on educating patients in the clinic and office settings.-BSN and at least one year of nursing experience required; Pediatric experience preferred.Provides nursing care and care coordination services for pediatric patients and their families. Fosters effective communication among health care professionals who provide nursing care to children with altered health states. Develops and implements educational programs for patients, parents and families, hospital staff, and community health personnel. Practices professional nursing and promotes patient advocacy in accordance with the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses. Valid driver''s license, good driving record and proof of insurance.SKILLS: Clinical skill and knowledge in the nursing care of children including normal growth and development and/or clinical expertise in specialized area required.
