Pre-PT/PACU RN Part TimeGraduate of an accredited school of nursingCurrent CA Nursing LicenseCurrent BLS, ACLS and PALSMinimum of 2 years experience in Pre-Op/PACUStrong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patientUnderstand principles of aseptic technique and their implementationAbility to care for patients with changing medical priorities and ability to respond accordinglyKnowledge base to recognize, evaluate, solve problems and correct errorsAbility to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when neededExcellent teaching skillsExcellent communication and organizational skillsDemonstrate strong professional and ethical behaviorAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, physicians and fellow employees. (TEAMWORK)Strong customer service skillsDemonstrate accountability, creativity, innovation and be receptive to changePossess basic knowledge of Performance Improvement ideologyRequired Experience:* Previous experience working in an ambulatory surgical setting preferred.Mercy Surgery Center complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce.
