Job DescriptionAs a recognized authority and leading contributor within their practice, this senior-level consulting position provides consistent high quality and innovative solution leadership to a project team. Leads the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget.Analyzes business needs to help ensure Oracle solution meets the customers objectives by combining industry best practices, product knowledge, and business acumen. Exercises judgment and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques to deliver functional and technical solutions on non-routine and very complex aspects of applications and technology installations. Provides direction and mentoring to project teams, and effectively influences customer leadership on key decisions. Supports the business development efforts by pursuing new opportunities and extensions. Collaborates with the consulting sales team by providing domain expertise. Resolves complex customer issues by recommending and implementing solutions. Demonstrates expertise in multiple business processes across two or more product families or ability to architect and design technology solutions encompassing multiple products and make decisions based on impact across the stack.8-10 years of experience relevant to this position including 4 years of consulting experience. Prior team leadership or management experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Strong influencing and negotiation skills. We work with Electric Utilities to help them implement a solution that meets their OMS and ADMS needs. We design, configure and deploy the NMS solution. This includes the core application, along with any adapters/interfaces customers may need. Members of our team are technical leads in their areas of expertise, but we also collaborate as a team.What you will do:Help the customer design and implement a productized solution that utilizes the best practices for the implementation of the product.Meet with the customer and be their trusted advisorWriting and reviewing designs with client.Configuring the NMS system per agreed to designsTroubleshooting bugs and answering implementation questions from customers and the internal product development or support teams.Working with product management if a customer needs an enhancement to the core product that cant or wont be implemented by the project.What youve done:4+ years of Consulting Experience, preferably with Electrical Utilities2+ years of experience with Unix/Linux, XML, SQL.2+ years of experience guiding and mentoring offshore and onshore resourcesIt would be awesome if you also had:C++, Java, JavaScript, JSON, VSCode, XCode, WebLogic Administration, Oracle RDBMS Administration, SCADA Implementation, GIS Data ModelingLI-RemoteAs a member of the project implementation team, you will take a lead role in the definition and implementation of NMS. You will be responsible for defining, configuring or implementing, and delivering the NMS product to meet the customer needs.This job is non-routine and very complex. Problem solving and communication skills are a must. As a team member you will need to understand utility business processes to help drive a solution for the customer that is on time and on budget. Team members are also responsible for mentoring and guiding the other team members as needed.
