Role Summary: Under the general supervision of the Senior Director, IT Infrastructure & Workplace Technology Services, the Manager of Workplace Technologies & IAM Services is responsible for ensuring effective control of Identity and Access Management systems and processes at VWGoA/VGCA. Including the consistent and reliable delivery of IT Services, Asset Management, Service Desk, Deskside support, Desktop Engineering, Identity and Access Management and Cyber Security for VWGoA, VGCA, Dealers (1,000+), Affiliate sites, Electrify America, and some of those services to VCI, VWAC, Navistar and the plant in Chattanooga.This role manages six teams/functions: 1) Identity and Access Management 2) IT Services (Request Management, IT Services Catalog, Mobile), 3) IT Service Desk 4) Desktop Support (Deskside Services, Print Services) 5) Asset Management, 6) Desktop Engineering.This leadership role will manage the end-to-end identity lifecycle of our employees, contractors, and service accounts supporting both internally developed and SAAS / Cloud-hosted systems across multiple platforms. This role will lead an effective access management program designed to help accelerate our ever-changing business through automation, scalability, and risk mitigation. This position will be a security leader skilled in collaborating across stakeholder/business teams to design an IAM program that meets global cybersecurity governance, policy, and compliance requirements in accordance to VW Group regulations and industry best practices, improves the user experience, and effectively mitigates risk in a sustainable way. This role will design and implement the IAM framework and architecture, evaluate and select IAM vendor solutions, and hire a skilled team to support the program''s objectives. The Manager, End-User Computing and IAM Services, is responsible for setting the strategic direction for VWGoA end-user support processes. This role''s organizational duties will consist of recruiting and selecting personnel into this team; managing resource demand, capacity, and scheduling; staff performance management, and professional development. This position will work with the broader IT and business organizations within VWGoA to identify and deliver productivity solutions. Additionally, they will serve as a subject matter expert in end-user computing, manage governance and compliance to corporate standards & policies, and drive the team''s focus on delivering excellent customer experience. In this capacity, this role is responsible for Service Level Management and direct operational control over all services associated with the Windows, Linux and Mac Client Environments. These services include Operating System Configuration (Mac. Linux and Windows), Client Management, Antivirus Policy and Administration, Application Packaging and Deployment, VMWare View (Virtual Desktops), Citrix XenApp. This includes designing, securing and maintaining the Windows, Linux and Mac Client Environments.This position is responsible for leadership of the Desktop Engineering team which is responsible for the installation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting and support of the associated systems required to manage the above services (SCCM, McAfee ePO, Jamf, etc). This role must work with VW Group to ensure that we are compliant with Global Policy, while ensuring the interests and experience of VWGoA are represented within the group.This position will direct the day-to-day activities of VW employees, contracted technical engineers, managed service providers, and vendors responsible for the development and design of solutions and lifecycle strategy, while managing an annual multi-million dollar budget.It is critical for this position to be able to communicate effectively with IT management, finance, and internal and external business users with diverse levels of understanding of IT. Role Responsibilities: Leadership (40%)Direct a high performing team of resources with varied levels of technical/engineering skillsetsWork collaboratively across IT and Business departments to implement/support technical solutionsDirect Identity and Access Management team, responsible for access control and all associated programsActively participate in the design or improvement stages of product development adding input or offering technical or process driven suggestions to ensure product teams understand any potential IAM security risks and comply with current IAM security standards.Designs and manages a governance framework to ensure proper enforcement of identity and access security, collaborating with global cybersecurity Governance, Risk, and Compliance to develop a library of security controls that map industry and company standards to operational procedures, and accurately measures control effectivenessOversee the development, testing, and lifecycle management of end-user compute platforms including OS images, software updates/patching, and hardware.Lead strategic vendor partnerships with a focus on delivering efficient and secure solutions in a timely manner. Be a creative solution provider with the ability to translate customer/business needs into technical solutions. Continuously improves end user outcomes by defining, measuring, and optimizing end-to-end value streams utilizing lean practices and leveraging data to make decisionsDevises a talent strategy to build high-value cybersecurity and technical skills that keep pace with the rapidly changing landscapeInitiates and fosters relationships with stakeholders across Technology Group and our business units that promote trust and increase responsiveness; Lead role in internal/external audit, compliance and legal hold activities relative to Client and IAM ServicesPrioritize tasks for team members and give guidance and direction to meet commitments to business customers.Set cross-functional direction and ensure integration across functional areas.Manage IT services budget, including forecasting, submitting financial documentation and invoice processing.Develop, recommend, review and adjust monthly forecasts for operational expenses.Define and develop initial budget and project definitions for strategic initiatives.Participate in the planning of project and administrative expenses for the annual budget.Manage the implementation of cost reduction and operational efficiencies.Sponsor and Manage budget for IT Services related terview, hire and manage the performance of employee and direct contract staff.Define and oversee process adherence in all accountable areas to include integrating industry best practicesOperations (40%)Act as a subject matter expert on key principles of Identity and Access Management with an in-depth knowledge including Authentication and Authorization systems, Identity Lifecycle Management, and Identity GovernanceResponsible for desktop platform images, client operating systems, desktop management, patching, application delivery, endpoint security, and evaluation of new and emerging hardware. Additional responsibilities include integrations and support of a portfolio of packaged desktop applications; optimizations and continuous improvement of end-user computing platform.Responsible for the managing the delivery of PC support of VWGoA/VWC''s PC and Printer environment for corporate clients as well as application support to the dealer environment. Define and implement Service Desk related policies, procedures, and best practices.Ensure ITIL standards and defined processes are followed to provide best in class customer service.Participate on global IT Process Advisory Board (PAB) to gain efficiencies with related services and tool usage (SC 2.0 and my.Serve).Participate in Global Information Security Workgroup in definition and implementation of global identity access management practices and regulations.Responsible for the operation and support of the technology, services, and processesDevelop RFP''s for managed service contract and own vendor relationships Process Owner for Incident Management processes for IT, ensuring process adherence controls and reports are in place against operational metricsEstablish controls around the measurement of performance of our services to industry best standard SLA/KPI''s. Accountable for the results of frequent system access audits to ensure complete identity lifecycle processes are defined and implemented. Additionally, this role heavily participates in Internal and External Audit activity as well as HR and Legal investigations. For the Service Desk and Desktop Services, this role will ensure that all IT services are available 24x7, incident and requests are being addressed and closed in a timely matter, and customers are happy with services. Effectively deliver the complete lifecycle of Identity and Access Management (IAM) services including; strategy, organizational design, process re-engineering and technology implementation.Accountable for the execution of the High Priority Incident (Crisis) management process to enable swift and efficient restoration of a system, application, or service when an outage has been reported. Responsible for design, implementation and support of IT Services CatalogResponsible for VWGoA/VGCA cellular provisioning process and administers contracts with ATT, T-Mobile, and Verizon, including new activations, terminations, plan optimization, and device upgrades. Total annual value of contracts is $2.5M.Ensure the organization has the necessary identity and access capabilities to align with all laws, regulations and internally developed standards and policies.Solid understanding of the current industry risks and trends as well as clear understanding of the business and technical strategies in order to be accountable for identifying gaps and preparing identity solutions.Accountable for adherence to ITSM processes in the area of responsibility.Strategy - (20%)Create strategy, vision and execution plan for identity lifecycle across the enterprise.Define and articulate end user computing strategy and roadmap.Drive strategic design, implementation, and support deployment processes as well as proactively develop and implement continuous improvement priorities.Define/refine, with the Sr. Director of Technology and Operation and CISO, the 1-3 year IAM Security strategy annually, and manage / track progress towards the strategy.Define/refine, with the Sr. Director of Technology and Operations, the 1-3 year End User Computing strategy annually, and manage / track progress towards the strategy.Responsible for the strategy, engineering, and strategic deployment activities for all end user servicesLead, Manage, and/or support both the periodic (e.g., annual) assessment and ongoing review of cybersecurity IAM and end user computing programs to identify programmatic and technological gaps, areas for improvement, and recommendationsParticipate in design review working directly with clients and business owners on the integration requirements including provisioning, de-provisioning and user lifecycle into the IAM platform.Coordinate and monitor monthly performance for risks & opportunities in the context of ensuring transparency.Participate in the planning of project and administrative expenses for the annual budget. Qualifications:Years of Experience:15+yearsofexperience within the Information Technology field, possessing a broad rangeof technical understanding, including Desktop Engineering, Cyber Security, Identity and Access Management, IT Service Desk, and Desktop Support. 10+ yearsofexperience managing operational environments (preferably automotive based). Including ITIL processes governance (Configuration, Incident, Problem, Change, Release and Request Management) 10+yearsofexperience in strategic IT planning with demonstrated project management and analytical skills. Solid understanding of technologies that support end user productivity.
