Job DescriptionAccelerated pay of $48 per hour | Full time | 72 hours every two weeks | Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm | Saturday rotation (every 6th Saturday) 8am - 12pm JOB SUMMARY: This position will float between our Paynesville, Eden Valley and Richmond locations. As a RN in our Triage Clinic, you will receive patient phone calls, collect medical questions and information and follow established protocols in order to properly route patients to the appropriate care source. Also provide physical nursing assessment of patients who present to the clinic without appointments and who need medical attention. Answer patient questions under direct guidance of providers and approved protocols. Responsible for scheduled nurse appointments, ordered injections i.e., allergy, school, childhood. Responsible for blood pressure checks; newborn weight checks. You will complete drug prescription refills for patients as directed by providers and in accordance with the approved pharmacy guidelines. Above tasks are under the direct supervision of a physician. The RN, as needed, will also be responsible for rooming patients and obtaining vitals, answering phones, informing patients of test results, patient education regarding health maintenance, and assisting providers with diagnostic procedures. Other duties include administering injections and immunizations, performing TB skin testing, and ear lavage and electrocardiograms as requested. EDUCATION: Associate Degree from accredited nursing program LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS: Registered Nurse in Minnesota Basic Life Support (BLS) *To be eligible for the accelerated rate you must be an external candidate who has not worked for CentraCare/Carris for at least the past nine months and is hired into an eligible position.
