Software Engineer- Devops with Security Clearance

Peraton is seeking a Software Engineer to support a large software development program developing, operating, and maintaining mission critical enterprise capabilities. Program includes development and support for existing mission systems in parallel with effort to develop and deliver modernized cloud native, microservice-based products. Team applies Agile methodology, DevOps principles and behavior and test-driven development practices. Build, maintain, monitor and upgrade platforms and databases. Maintain SSP and ensure STE/STN compliance. Support Cloud Native development teams. This position is located in Annapolis Junction, MD. Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor''s degree with 12-15 years'' experience* At least 14 years'' experience in software engineering* Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes* Expereince with C2S (AWS)* Database experience with MongoDB, MariaDB, MySQL* Experience with ActiveMQ, ELK Stack, Elastic, automation and pipelining* Agile/SCRUM methodology* Knowledge of use of messaging technologies (Kafka)* Experience with Jenkins, Gradle, Maven and/or Git* Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is requiredPreferred Qualifications: * Familiar with Microsoft Office* STE, STN, COOP, Disaster RecoveryApplicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
