Description Xcelerate Solutions is c urrently seeking a Creative Content Writer to support a program with a DOJ customer with various research and analytical projects, white paper development, presentations, and other project-oriented tasks . Location: Clarksburg, West Virginia Secret Clearance: Top Secret SCI/ CI Poly Responsibilities : * S hall manage, track, prioritize, and schedule multiple projects simultaneously, while meeting all deadlines * Shall provide necessary professional skills, including planning, selecting, collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and communicating for all phases of data processing; system and software development lifecycle phases; and data analysis * Shall advise on best practices and guidelines for visual communications, including preparing and formatting documents for use in websites, and oversee logo and brand guidelines * Shall design and produce the unit''s key newsletters and contribute to the unit''s websites and other publications * Shall collaborate with other CJIS units on projects, initiatives, and events * Shall recommend innovative avenues of communication for external and internal audiences * Shall assist with system messaging as needed; this includes system maintenance, outages, and notifications * Shall recognize when and where problems and opportunities exist and evaluate strengths and weaknesses of potential solutions to problems * Shall recognize patterns of customer needs, problems, and potential systemic solutions * Shall work with all levels of the organization. Interactions may include presentations, workshop facilitation, and training * Shall manage and perform print production updates, while maintaining master production schedule * Shall be familiar with Agile Software methods and project management to effectively demonstrate an understanding of customer needs * Shall have demonstrated creative writing and editing skills, knowledge of the Gregg Reference Manual, and ability to conform to CJIS writing requirements * Shall perform extensive analysis and research to create case analysis studies and reports * Shall have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills * May perform other additional duties or tasks as designated by the supervisor Minimum Requirements * A minimum of five years'' experience is desired in managing and supporting IT systems; working in collaborative sessions; presentation skills; producing quality written documentation and products, to include, but not limited to; procedures, processes, presentations, newsletters, technical training guides and manuals, marketing materials, online training modules, and websites * A minimum of five years'' experience creating training manuals, updating operation instructions, and user guides * Experience in the preparation of user manuals, standard operating procedures, training materials, bulletins, presentations, reports, and instructional materials is required. * Expertise in creative writing and marketing materials, including, but not limited to creating informative emails, articles, success stories, brochures, flyers, newsletters, presentations, etc. is required * Proficiency with the application of copyright procedures and laws, and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 requirements and standards is desired * Proficiency required in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop , and other graphic design software * Ability to develop a communications strategy and produce creative, effective, and engaging communications content * Proficiency in preparing and/or reviewing technical and programmatic documentation to ensure consistency with training documentation and ensuring impacts are identified, understood, and communicated is required * Excellent analytical, critical thinking, judgement, and organizational skills are required About Xcelerate Solutions Founded in 2009 and headquartered in McLean, VA, Xcelerate Solutions (is one of America''s fastest-growing companies.
