Job Description

WANTED a junior to mid-level Training Instructor with a bachelor''s degree and experience in a DoD acquisition program environment with training or Instructor experience (prior teacher) or former Military Officer with any instructor experience.The ideal candidate will have knowledge and some experience with Instructor Training and/or Security Education Training, Operations Security (OPSEC), and Information Security (INFOSEC) and comfortable speaking in front of large groups. Asthe SETA analyst/Instructor, you will: * Become a Certified Program Multi-Level Security Posture Training Instructor by completing the Train the Trainer (T3) MLPT Course. After successful completion of T3, you will become a SETA team member that is responsible for assisting the SETA lead in designing, developing, implementing, evaluating and maintaining the Program''s Security Training that is mandated to be delivered to the workforce by training over 24 site instructors on that year''s required MLPT. * Assist the SETA lead in Identifying elements that require national security classification and determine the duration of classification and ensure procedures for configuration control of security classification guides. * Drafts emails and correspondence for coordinating, administering, and conducting SETA Train The Trainer (T3) classes, Regional Refresher (R2) classes, and OPSEC Coordinators Courses * CONUS travel required to deliver both new certification training as well as refresher security training to contractors, government civilians, and military personnel. * CONUS travel also required for the delivery of OPSEC Coordinator training to certify program OPSEC Coordinators. A week in the life ofSETA Instructor/ Analyst: * Work closely with the ASC SETA Lead with developing, Implementing, coordinating, and delivering Professional Security Education Training and Awareness (SETA) Products in support of the Program Security Manager (PSM) * Participate in discussions to identify security risks to the program that would assist with mitigation via Security Education measures to improve program execution and program protection * Assist the SETA Lead in preparing information papers and briefing about OPSEC issues, processes, and countermeasures. * Assist the SETA lead in drafting agenda and minutes for OPSEC and Program Protection meetings. * Assist the SETA lead in maintaining a SETA reference library within the collaborative SharePoint for the development and delivery of SETA Contract Deliverables (CDRLs) * Serveas a SETA member that develops and delivers effective training to satisfy the program manager''s and the program security manager''s annual strategic security training goals. * Assist the SETA lead in developing and conducting OPSEC training and evaluation of various contractor site OPSEC Plans that satisfy DoN and program OPSEC policies and guidance. Desired Qualifications: * Past military experience or military acquisition system experience is a plus. * Naval Officer w/ Naval Aviation background, Flight or NFO Instructor experience is desired * Experience developing and delivering security and/or military instructional material. * Experience with assessing threats and vulnerabilities and implementing risk-based countermeasures from an OPSEC perspective. Desired certifications: * SFPC Security Fundamentals Professional Certification * Experience as a security professional and/or instructor * Experience supporting military aviation EOE M/F/Disability/Veterans
