We are looking for night owls who love to clean and work independently. Prior cleaning experience, preferred. Applicants must be able to ski/snowboard at an intermediate level to/from certain restaurant locations. A post job offer, pre-employment on-snow ski/snowboard assessment is required. A valid driver''s license is required. Detailed job description, including responsibilities, work performed, tools or equipment used, etc.: Provide clean and sanitary restrooms, halls, lobbies and dining areas, scrub and sanitize urinals, toilets, stalls, sinks, walls and mop floors in restrooms Vacuum floors, hallways, lobbies, landings, stairways, elevators, and dining areas and mop per schedule Empty trash in restrooms and lobbies, shine and clean all chrome and stainless fixtures Clean all windows and sills of prints, dust and bugs Clean areas including kitchen floors, storage rooms, dish areas, mop rooms and some equipment This position has security responsibilities and will manage keys or key cards in order to securely unlock and lock the buildings and various venues Compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements Other duties, as assigned Minimum skills, experience, education required for this job: High School diploma or GED Must work well under own supervision Prior cleaning experience, preferred Safe lifting skills required Work with and understand usage of chemical cleaners and solvents in a safe manner Adhere to all safety policies Interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with Steamboat Ski & Resort Corp Service Excellence standards Physical Requirements: Must be a minimum of 18 years of age Safely lift approximately 30-50 pounds on a recurring basis Walk, bend and stand for long periods of time on a recurring basis Climb stairs while carrying vacuum cleaner and other supplies on a recurring basis Must have a valid driver''s license and meet insurability standards Position is from 3pm to 11pm Miscellaneous information: Position requires working weekends and holidays as needed This is an hourly non-exempt position and is subject to overtime pay Employment is contingent on the successful completion of a background check All Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation employees are required to follow adapting COVID policies and guidelines. The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation''s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits.
