Assist in the administration of server, network and telecommunications equipment, including capacity planning, configuration and troubleshooting, assist in implementation and support of server-based applications. EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: Provide first and second line analysis and response to incidents and service requests from Oregon Medical Group physicians and staff. Respond to and triage both incidents and end user requests for assistance, applying the principles of good customer service, and hardware/software knowledge and ITIL methodology to troubleshoot and resolve incidents and problems in a timely manner. Support and administer client/desktop systems, applications and local infrastructure components or assist in the support and administration of more complex client/desktop systems, applications and local infrastructure components. Assist in taking system inventories and building documentation for client / desktop systems, applications and local infrastructure. Contribute to the fulfillment of projects and organizational objectives. Install and configure workstations. Build, test and deploy new standard desktop image bi-annually. Work with external vendors for system support and warranty issues. Take system inventories and building documentation for client/desktop systems, applications and local infrastructure. Participate in on-call duties on a rotational basis. Assist in some aspects of day-to-day server, network and telecommunications operations, support, and administration. Full use and application of standard principles, theories, concepts, and techniques in applicable discipline(s). Create and maintain documentation using standard tools such as Word, Excel, Visio, and other ITSM tools. Assist in installation and configuration of network servers, routers, switches and related equipment. Assist in administration and maintenance of e-mail systems. Intranet and Internet administration. Test application software prior to deployment. Perform other duties as assigned. Experience and Skills: PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: Ability to learn, and stay current with IT industry standards. Willing to participate in professional development activities, and cross train on other job functions. Must apply good judgment, reasoning, and decision making in the performance of all duties following Oregon Medical Group''s policies and procedures, while maintaining confidentiality at all times. Should be self-directed, accepting responsibility for assigned job duties and exercise initiative in the performance of those duties with minimal supervision. Have the ability to effectively troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues. Have a Working knowledge of business applications like Microsoft Office, Adobe products, SharePoint, etc. Experience with WSUS, SMS / SCCM, and Active Directory administration. Utilize strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with good verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical staff. EDUCATION: AAS or BS in technology field or equivalent experience. EXPERIENCE: 4 years practical experience in a computer support environment including experience with support of client/desktop systems using Microsoft Windows, support of client/desktop software used in a networked client/server environment, familiarity with networking, network printing, and assisting in the administration of network operating systems. Experience with scripting, VoIP phone systems, and experience with electronic medical records systems is a plus. Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement of this role. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Sitting and working at a computer for extended periods of time. Crawling, stooping, and using ladders to perform installation and maintenance of computer systems. May be required to lift up to 50 pounds. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Regular office environment with occasional evening or weekend work. Position involves frequent contact with physicians, other providers, staff, clinic leadership and the public within diverse settings. Work is often challenging with multiple and frequent demands.
