Strategies and business development are centered on Oncology Services, Cardiac Services, and Orthopedics. RN-DH Responsibilities Responsibilities: Under the guidance of the Director of Quality Assurance, the Cardiac Rehab Registered Nurse Coordinator works in the area of Cardiac Rehab in consultation with the Medical Director. The responsibilities include direct patient care for inpatients and outpatients, ranging from adult to geriatric age, education for patient families, staff and the community, acting as a resource to ensure smooth functioning of the various cardiac rehabilitation services. Qualifications: 2 years experience in a social, recreational, or educational program within the last 5 years (one year of which was in an activities program in a health care, mental health or handicapped setting). Experience with Multi-Disciplinary Team approach Recent experience with cardiac data input and analysis (minimum of 2-5 years) Minimum of 2 years recent experience with research and clinical trials preferred Minimum of 3-5 years combined experience in healthcare industry 1-2 years of experience with a minimum of 1 year in area of related field Complete annual safety training Complete and maintain department specific training Hearing and sight adequate Ability to maintain ongoing mental stability under periodic stressful conditions Ability to speak clearly and be understood Effective hand/eye coordination to perform administrative tasks (such as writing) State or National Certificate as Recreation, Dance, Art, Occupational or Music Therapist preferred. Current CPR Current California RN license, clinical nurse specialist preferred.
