The primary duties consist of the management and implementation of the unit''s Security Program, encompassing Information, Cyber, Physical, Personnel, and Industrial Security activities. The position duties have specific focus on the execution of Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), Special Access Program (SAP) and HQ-level special security programs, in accordance with all applicable DoD, Air Force, Air Force Materiel Command, and Air Force Logistics Management Center security policies, directives, regulations and instructions Position Requirements * Bachelor''s degree in related field or equivalent experience is required * Master''s degree is preferred * Top Secret security clearance required * Eligibility for SCI/SAP access * 7 or more years'' experience in a related field, including 3 years'' experience as an ISSO or ISSM and 2 years'' experience related to DOD network and computer administration. * Experience should include experience as an Information Assurance Officer or Manager. * Experience in managing SCI and SAP programs and systems is essential. * Security Plus and/or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are desired. * Located at Wright Patterson AFB, Dayton, OH Job Duties/Tasks This position is responsible for, but not limited to the following: * Assists program leadership with implementation of Information Systems and Security Programs. * Manages various network systems and provides communications support, network administration, and help-desk services to clients. Installs, improves, and defends information systems supporting the Big Safari program. * Provides program managers, contractors and support agencies with information security policies requirements, resources, facility plans, and implements special security requirements. * Reviews and applies SCI and SAP control procedures.
