Job Description

Are you ready to use your leadership skills in aviation regulations and aircraft maintenance in a managerial position? Join our team! As an Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling all aircraft repair and maintenance activities and ensuring those activities are performed safely, on-time, and within budget. Youll ensure all foreign object inspections and activities are completed, ensure projects are properly staffed with qualified employees and establish work standards, hours of work and appropriate shifts to be worked to accomplish work on small programs. Youll also review maintenance delays and system problems in order to suggest improvements to maintenance processes and procedures. You will have overall responsibility for the airworthiness of the fleet and will ensure safe and adequate maintenance is performed at all times with the exception of platform supporting programs. Learn more about IAS Must-haves: * Bachelors degree in related field and a minimum of 10 years related experience•Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education* FAA A&P Certification* FAA IA Certification* Familiarity with aviation safety standards, FAA regulations, policies, and procedures and safe operating practices* Basic understanding of Aircraft Maintenance and Inspection processes and procedures and/or returning planes to service* Basic Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)* Ability to meet current DoD and Combatant Command pandemic restriction requirements for deployed locations* Ability to deploy for a minimum of 60 days to various OCONUS operating locations.* Must be willing and able to work extended hours, holidays and shift schedules as required* An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required Learn more about the background check process for Security Clearances Preferred: * Previous management or lead experience; the ability to recruit employees; assign, direct, and evaluate their work; and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence* Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military IMPORTANT NOTICE: This position requires current/active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment. Non-U.S. Citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance.
