Food & Beverage is looking for applicants who can operate a snow cat to join the warehouse team. Applicants must be team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of service. Detailed job description, including responsibilities, work performed, tools or equipment used, etc.:• Unload delivery carts from gondola, load haulcats for transport to Four Points and Rendezvous Saddle• Store product appropriately with strict adherence to proper food storage protocols; • Maintain clean work area and warehouse;• Effectively transport and deliver product to remote locations on the mountain via snowcat;• Transfer waste (i.e. compost, recycling, cardboard, empty kegs, soiled linen, etc.) via snowcat to Thunderhead and prepare for download via the gondola the following day;• Support other departments as necessary;• Perform as a member of the warehouse team to function as needed, in any weather condition, and at any site located both on and off the mountain. • Other duties, as assignedMinimum skills, experience, education and ability required for this job:• Ability to work cooperatively in small groups or individual tasks with minimum supervision;• Ability to adhere to all safety policies;• Must acquire a working knowledge of food products and how they must be handled to ensure product safety;• Ability to interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with SSRC''s Service Excellence standards;• Ability to safely operate a snow cat at night and in adverse weather conditions.• Exhibit proficiency in operating a snow cat through training and experience.• Must meet SSRC minimum driving standards and have current driver''s license; a successful motor vehicle record background check is required; Physical Requirements:• Must be at least 18 years of age• Must be able to lift 50 pounds (cases of food product, sacks of potatoes, dishware, equipment, etc.);• Ability to walk up and down stairs frequently;• Must be able to work outside in subzero weather conditions;• Intermediate or above skiing or riding ability Miscellaneous information:• This is an hourly non-exempt position and is subject to overtime pay• Position requires working weekends and holidays as needed All Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation employees are required to follow adapting COVID policies and guidelines. Hourly Rate: The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation''s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits.
