We are the Field Scale & Insights team and we are responsible for a suite of internal products that help streamline communication channels within the AWS world-wide sales and specialists organizations. Our team enables Amazonians all over the world to find expertise as it relates to the hundreds of AWS services that are expanding daily.We are looking for a passionate front-end software engineer to help re-define the user experience for the portfolio to bring multiple different tools together into a unified interface. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experienceMastery of the latest JavaScript language features and frameworks such as React or Angular7+ years of experience in Front-end web technologies and trends7+ years of experience with cross browser compatibility, client side security, browser tuning and optimization techniques/tools5+ years of experience in multi-tier large scale web architecture PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience building JavaScript/CSS Frameworks or shared component libraries used in large scale production websitesExperience taking a project from scoping requirements through actual launch of the projectExperience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designsExperience developing highly responsive, performant large-scale applications for consumers with different devices and network speedsKnowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operationsOutstanding written, presentation and communication skills, evangelism experience a plusMeets/exceeds Amazon''s leadership principles requirements for this roleMeets/exceeds Amazon''s functional/technical depth and complexity for this roleAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
