The Boeing Company is seeking an experienced International Government and Defence (IG&D) Business Development Representative (level 4). This position will be located in Hazelwood, MO, Ridley Park, PA, Seattle, WA, Arlington, VA, Mesa, AZ or Huntsville, AL. While this position permits telecommuting / hybrid work, the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. Position Responsibilities: * Balances the enterprise, business unit and customer goals to meet and drive Long Range Business Plan (LRBP).* Leads negotiations and finalizes commitments, ensuring mutual benefit to the customer and Boeing by interfacing directly with customer decision-makers and influencers.* Leverages detailed understanding of both customer and Boeing needs and resources to find areas of alignment and integration.* Obtains commitment within parameters approved by management.* Drives sales and campaign activities to successful completion by integrating multiple aspects of the customers'' needs.* Leads the approval process by advocating the customer requirements and selling the business case to management to ensure quality deal.* Crafts campaign specific strategies, procures resources and secures management commitment to ensure successful execution.* Creates metrics to monitor campaign project status and budget requirements.* Leverages company resources to support customer commitments, gain a competitive advantage and foster business growth by using a comprehensive understanding (breadth and depth) of multiple Boeing products and services, process and operations and resources.* Integrates knowledge into business strategies and solutions.* Assists in the development of strategy and tactics using in-depth knowledge of customer needs, Boeing products and services and competitive environment.* Identifies future business opportunities and promotes the value of Boeing portfolio and partnership.* Recommends alternative means of compliance to customer requests. This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at the listed location. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): * Bachelor''s degree or higher or equivalent experience* Experience supporting or managing competitive domestic or international sales campaigns* 5+ years of experience working contracts with U.S. Department of Defence, Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) and/or Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers* The ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally on short notice* Experience in a role that required interpersonal skills in a teaming environment where collaboration and communication are critical to the functioning of the team* Excellent written and oral communication skills in English required Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): * Proficiency in speaking and writing the Japanese language* 5+ years of experience interfacing directly with senior military officials and executives* 5+ years Business Capture experience* Able to balance the enterprise, business unit, and customer goals to meet and drive the Long-Range Business Plan (LRBP)* Solid interpersonal, leadership, and management skills as well as relentless customer focus are critical* A background in developing customer-facing experiences, a strong quantitative ability, excellent project management skills, exceptional communication skills, and a motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced environment* Superior written and verbal communication skills in Japanese a plus* Active Security Clearance preferred Typical Education & Experience: Technical bachelor''s degree and typically 9 or more years'' related work experience or a Master''s degree with typically 7 or more years'' or a PhD degree with typically 4 or more years'' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Relocation: Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
