Job Description:The Senior Storage and Backup Engineer will focus on the architecture of enterprise class storage and backup solutions including data replication and disaster recovery for multiple sites. Responsibilities will include system design evaluation, creating, updating and reviewing system documentation. Ensuring backups are running within SLA. Basic Qualifications:Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science or a related field5 years of storage and backup experience with Dell EMC products including but not limited to VPLEX, PowerMax, PowerStore, VNX, Isilon, ECS, Data Domain, Avamar and NetworkerSAN zoning, masking and allocations for VMWare, Windows, Linux and AIXStorage networkingTroubleshooting and maintaining data protection and recovery processes for databases such as MSSQL, DB2. NDMP and VMWare.Replication configuration and monitoring for Storage, BUR and NAS Dell EMC DPAPreferred Qualifications:2 years'' experience working with mainframe storageStrong architectural understanding of FC networks, IP networks, replication, high availability storage and backup systemsS3 RESTAPI integration is a big plusDell EMC Vendor CertifiedPrint Server Network Engineer position is based at our corporate office located in Dearborn, MI.
