Systems Engineer III with Security Clearance

Job Description PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:* Provides Program Management, Engineering and related Technical Activities, such as Cyber Security, Quality Assurance, Technical Documentation development, Configuration Management and Logistics Expertise services for our Terrestrial Collection Identity Operations (TCIO) customer and their stakeholders; including Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) and the Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory (MCWL)* Provides comprehensive test and evaluation support to include development of test plans,test procedures, and test logs. Conduct/lead various test events, collect and analyze resultant data and prepare and submit test reports* Translates operational needs into system requirements and develop testing methodologies with pass/fail criteria for validation and verification* Develops and/or modifies engineering product, installation, interface and other drawings using 2 or 3 dimensional drawing software* Implements model-based engineering approach to create digital representations of program and technical data, identify issues or anomalies, and resolve* Contributes to, participate in, and/or lead Engineering Change Requests and Proposals, and Systems Engineering Technical ReviewsConducts research on new or emerging technologies, evaluate technology readiness levels, and prepares Analysis ofAlternatives and/or Engineering Assessment briefings in support of hardware or software technical refreshes Requirements MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:* Six or more years of direct experience supporting DoD programs, projects or initiatives with: * Development, analysis, and/or modification of system requirements* Technology Readiness Level assessments* Drawing, modeling, and simulation* Test and evaluation* Engineering change requests and proposals* Development and design of systems and subsystems to include interfaces required for data sharingbetween other systemsDESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:* Working knowledge of virtual machines* Experience with system safety hazard analysis used to develop a Safety Assessment Report* Experience with the Integrated Design Environment* Development of Systems Engineering Plans, Requirements Traceability Matrices, Test and Evaluation MasterPlan, and Systems Engineering Management PlanSRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET / SCI LEVEL ABOUT US Scientific Research Corporation is an advanced information technology and engineering company that provides innovative products and services to government and private industry, as well as independent institutions.
