Cost Analyst with Security Clearance

VISTA Technology Services, Inc. (VISTA) is currently seeking a data analyst with military finance experience. The successful candidate will be part of a highly professional, results-oriented company and will join a team of professionals responsible for overseeing the Cost component of the Army''s Installation Status Report (ISR) program. The ISR helps the Army evaluate its mission readiness in terms of facilities, installation support, Base Operations Support (BOS) services, real property and budgeting. ISR Cost data is used to forecast the cost of BOS services at Army installations worldwide. Job Requirements:• Support data collection processes by coordinating with stakeholders, reviewing input data for quality and completeness, cleansing and transforming input data, updating system business rules, and collaborating with ISR team members to ensure data accuracy• Lead stakeholder engagements and process improvement activities to improve the quality of metrics and processes• Collaborate with ISR subject matter experts, government representatives, and the ISR user community to gather and disseminate information• Respond to user support requests• Assist in updating and delivering hands-on training• Assist in maintaining documentation to support system operations, such as data collection instructions, training materials, and references• Assist in defining and documenting functional requirements for system change requests Job Qualifications• Five years of experience in Financial Management, Accounting, Budgeting, Planning Programming Budgeting and Execution (PPBE), or DoD Payroll• Two years of experience in Installation management resource management, G8 or a DoD equivalent. This experience may be concurrent with the above five years • Bachelor''s degree in Financial Management, Finance, Economics, or Accounting • DoD Financial Management Certification, Certified Defense Financial Management (CDFM) Certification, or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Preferred• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially MS Excel and MS Access• DoD Secret clearance Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
