OBE has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Supervisor (hourly position) to join the team at our Warrenton facility. We are looking for a motivated, hands-on leader who wants the opportunity to make a positive impact on the operation and improve reliability throughout the plant. This position will supervise the maintenance team''s support our existing equipment, which includes tempering ovens, insulating lines, glass washers, cutting lines, CNC machines, polishers, etc. as well as facility maintenance and future expansion and automation projects. Responsibilities Ensure that in-depth, interactive safety training is carried out in an effective and timely manner. Ensure that all Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are adhered to. Lead the site Maintenance team in providing both a reactive and proactive, multi-skilled maintenance service on all operational equipment. This includes total preventative maintenance, managing breakdowns of mechanical, electrical and automated equipment. Responsible for timely completion of work carried out. Escalate issues to management and recommend solutions. Train Maintenance technicians and ensure maintenance team is up to date on latest training. Maintain PM schedules on all equipment. Contribute to the development of maintenance budget. Participate and coordinate projects (e.g., new equipment, renovations) Work with sub-contractors to get quotes as needed. Possible overtime / unscheduled hours (including weekends and holidays) may be required to finish projects or as emergencies arise. Responsible for maintaining utilities for entire campus (HVAC, electrical, plumbing), building repairs, parking lots, landscaping, etc. Approve weekly time for employees. Requirements Competent leader in problem solving, team building, planning and decision making A self-starter, motivated and able to positively motivate others Strong people skills Focused and target driven with a positive, can-do attitude Skills and Attributes Resilient, optimistic and open to change Strong troubleshooting ability in electrical, plumbing, HVAC and construction Strong troubleshooting ability using Electrical schematics Strong troubleshooting ability using Hydraulic schematics Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills Excellent organizational and follow-up skills Prior Manufacturing Maintenance Supervision or lead person experience required. Must possess a Trade, Associate Diploma or University Degree or equivalent work experience in a manufacturing environment.
